Adem S - Bottle Cap

I took this photo when I first started photography on my pontoon boat. It was the first photo I took that I considered art. I like how the bottle cap seems balanced unlike its messy surroundings

Daisy C - Other Worlds

I made this photograph in October 2015, downtown Birmingham.
I find this photo compelling because the view point being as if your in the small forest of trees and then it shows the world on the other side, is most likely nature versus modern time.

One thing I always do is always make sure the camera is in focus.

Crew V - Family Photo

I chose this picture of my family and I that we took on Christmas Eve. It was the first family photo we had taken in a while and I think it came out great. I adjusted the levels, contrast, color balance, and the tone of the photo. I also had to use the red eye tool on my brothers. This is one of the best family photos we have ever taken.

Antoinette M - Ed Sheeran

I did Ed Sheeran for my typography project. Basically for Ed I chose random songs and his name for my project. This was kinda difficult bc it dealt with many different colors and you had to have many different text. In the end I think it turned out great.

Lauren F - Jake

This is a photo I took downtown. To accomplish this picture, I first spot-healed and patched any imperfections I thought needed a little touching up. Then, I changed the brightness, contrast, and vibrance. I then added some offset to the picture which adds a little darkness to the spots that need it. What I find most intriguing about this photograph is the way the background colors match him. The shirt, his hair, etc.

Libby S - Glowstick

In this photo I simply titled “glowstick”, I set my shutter speed as slow as possible and had my dad wave around a glowstick. He made a circular pattern until the picture finally took (which took forever), and the outcome was this. I had him take it with a brick wall background to make the focus be only on the glowstick. If I could do it again, i would ask him to be precise with his circles to make it look even cooler. I love this picture though, because I think it is very original and a quality picture.
