Jonathan DM - Lonely Chairs

I made this photo for our black and white photography project and the location is in the back of my neighborhood. I find this photo interesting because when I was younger, I would sit outside on the chairs and read a book, but now, they are so weathered down they can barely support my weight. Until Dig. Photography, I didn't even think about the chairs and what they might symbolize. I got down low on the ground, and made the rotting chairs the emphasis with the rest of the back part of my neighborhood in the background, then I changed the composition to black and white to highlight the rotting wood.
